Dr. Jared Broadway

Originally from Jonesboro, Arkansas, Dr. S. Jared Broadway, MD, FAANS graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with his Doctorate of Medicine degree in 2005. He then completed an Internship and Residency in Neurological Surgery at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He joined the Neurosurgery department at Essentia Health/Duluth Clinic upon the completion of his residency in 2011 and served as Section Chair from 2014 to 2019. Dr. Broadway left Essentia in 2019 to found Northern Neurosurgery and Spine in Fargo, specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, and the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.

Dr. Broadway has performed thousands of cranial and spinal operations in Duluth and is excited to expand his practice back to the city that he and his family call home. In 2021 he began the process of building Arrowhead Surgery Center and is proud to partner with Dr. Matt Davies at ASC to provide cutting-edge, independent spine surgery to patients across the Northland. He currently sees patients in Duluth, Cloquet, West Fargo, and Fergus Falls.

Dr Davies is a native Duluthian who returned to his hometown in 2020, joining Orthopaedic Associates of Duluth, P.A., after completing his medical training. He earned a B.S. in Cell & Molecular Biology from the University of Minnesota, Duluth in 2008, graduating summa cum laude. He went on to complete his medical school training at the University of Vermont in 2013 while earning Alpha Omega Alpha honors. He then completed his Neurological Surgery training at the prestigious University of Texas-Southwestern in Dallas, Texas in 2020 while completing a CAST fellowship in spinal deformity & spinal oncology.

Dr. Davies has also completed advanced training in minimally invasive spine procedures, cervical and lumbar disc replacement, sacroiliac joint fusion, and pain management. He is currently seeing patients in Duluth, Hibbing, and Virginia Minnesota. He is thrilled to partner with Dr. S. Jared Broadway to bring cutting-edge spine care to the Northland at Arrowhead Surgery Center.
